consigner guidelines

register

Our easy-to-use software offers a quick signup. Use the buttons above to register as a consigner. When registering, you will have to sign our consigner agreement, and pay the $10 consigner fee.

prepare and Tag your items

All clothing needs to be placed on a hanger. Hangers will not be returned. When selling an outfit together, they should be pinned to the same hanger. Clothes should be hung in a question mark shape. Ironed clothing sells better than wrinkled clothing. See the precise clothing limits on your consignor agreement.

All price tags must be printed from the online consigner page. When adding your items to your inventory, mark if you want the item discounted during discount day, or donated at the end of the sale.

Price tags should be safety pinned to all clothing and taped to all other items. The barcode and item description must be clearly visible on every item. The barcode displays important information like your consigner id.

Shoes should be zip tied together or placed in clear bags.

All electronics should arrive with batteries and in working order.

Large sets containing small pieces (Legos, etc.) should be in clear bags.

Clothing items hung on hangers: a T-shirt, a pair of pants, and a shorts set, all on black hangers with tags.

drop off

See our drop off schedule on our consigner page. Drop off will take approximately 45 minutes for items to be inspected and for you to place them on the sales floor. To speed up inspection, please arrange all clothing according to size and gender. Thank you for your patience as we try to streamline the drop off process for everyone involved.

consigner presale

For all consigners selling at least 50 items or $200 in sales value, you have the chance to shop before the public at our exclusive Consignor Presale with one guest of your choice. The Consignor Presale will last for two hours. See sale’s schedule for start time.

pick up

For any items not marked for donation, see our online pick up schedule on our consigner page. Bring in your printed unsold item report from the online system, or display your report on your phone to reference as you retrieve your items. Bring with you a container or bag to collect your items. When you retrieve your items, verify your consigner number matches the number on the tag. If you cannot locate an item, a staff member will assist you.

Once items are retrieved, a staff member will verify that your unsold item report matches the items retrieved.

All items not picked up during the pickup window will be considered donated.

Moonlight Treasures is not responsible for any lost or damaged items before, during, or at the conclusion of the sale.

commission payments

While there’s no requirement to stay and sell, consignors can earn a higher commission by helping out on the sales floor during the event. Every event will offer a wide variety of opportunities to assist.

Commission percentages are as follows:

If you work two or more shifts, you earn 70% commission on all sales.

If you work one shift, you earn 65% commission on all sales.

All other consigners will earn 60% commission on all sales.

Allow Moonlight Treasures up to 2 weeks after the sale to mail a check to your registered address.
